I really enjoy writing. It gives purpose to my life, especially considering my Multiple Sclerosis! FYI - I don't consider my MS a Handicap or a Disability. To me, it's just an Inconvenience! "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persuasive one" - Einstein. "I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member." - Groucho Marx. And my Favorite Quote, "I'd rather write than fuck." - Harlan Ellison. I'm planning to turn that one into Tee-shirts, Tote-bags, Coffee Mugs and Bumper Stickers...I'm quite certain his estate won't mind. Another VERY Important Quote is by Charles Beaumont, "Attaining success in Hollywood is like climbing a gigantic mountain of cow flop, in order to pluck one perfect rose from the summit. And you find when you’ve made that hideous climb … you’ve lost the sense of smell." I am also a Poet. Writing is my life! FYI - I Finally Got That Coffee Mug With The Harlan Ellison Quote. It's Sitting Right Beside My Laptop Giving Me inspiration! LMAO!!! And ANOTHER Very Important Quote - “If You Can't Dazzle them With Brilliance, Baffle them With Bullshit.” - W.C. Fields. Another EXTREMELY Important Quote From Mr. Fields - "If At First You Don't Succeed, Try, Try Again. Then Quit. There's No Use In Being A Damn Fool About It."
I was on the Board of the L-5 Society, a Leading Space Advocacy Organization many years ago. Through this affiliation I knew, very, very, very slightly Robert Heinlein who was also a Member of the Board. Mr. Heinlein gave me written permission to use the company name SPACEWAYS, INCORPORATED which was originally used in his novella 'The Man Who Sold The Moon'. I still have that letter in a very safe location to this day.
Unique traits: In spite of my MS I fully enjoy life. My Wonderful Wife Barbara and I have been married 49 years!!! We have a son, Geoffrey. We have a Dog, Carley. I collect Japanese Swords. I have a Library of Over 2,000 Books. They include an 1857 Copy of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. I'm Considered an Expert in the Field of Temporal Displacement....Occasionally! LOL!!!
