Fabian Stratas

Actor- Director-Producer- translator and adaptor-: Worked in all areas of
entertainment, Film, theater, TV, Live entertainment and digital media.
Started his career at the age of 12, by studding magic at Argentina famous school from
legendary magician Fu-Man-Chu. At 16 he was already working at private parties and
corporate events .
He then worked as magician, directing his own shows, and writing his own scripts, as
street performer, in TV shows, cabarets, own solo shows, private and corporate
events.
He worked in several countries: USA, Mexico, Israel, Spain and in almost all Europe as
street performer.
Parallel to work as magician, he started to take acting classes with top teachers in
Argentina and in USA. Norman Briski , Agustin Alezzo, Ricardo Bartis and Julio
Chavez in Argentina and Joy Morris, William Esper, and HB studio in New York. Never
quit studding, taking classes in different disciplines: dance, clown, directing,
multimedia, digital, and other diciplines.
He lived in New York from 1990 to 1995. During his stay in NY, beside working as
magician and studding acting, he started to work with mythical Argentinean Music
producer Oscar Lopez.(Lopez has produced the biggest Argentinean and Latin
musicians and bands like Sui Generis, Seru Giran , León Gieco, Virus, Miguel Mateos, ,
Cafeta Cuba, and produced in Mexico and Argentina international shows like Peter
Gabriel, Sting, INX, The rolling stones, among others.
Mr. Stratas worked in NY with Lopez, organizing and directing concerts, and
organizing recording sessions, he organized the concert where Mr BB King invited
argentine Musician Pappo to play with him at Madison Square Garden. He also
organizad concerts in Méxican venues Palacio de los deportes and Juan de la
barrera.
He returned to Argentina in 1995 working as an actor, theater director, Film producer
and theater producer. As an actor he worked in film, theater and TV.

In 1999 he filmed as lead actor the film Fuckland. The film was awarded the Dogma
certificate, being the only Argentinean film in obtaining this distinction; the film was
invited to more than 20 Film Festivals around the world, including famous Sundance
Film Festival and London Film festival.
