Nadejda Kolpacoff

Nadejda means hope in Russian. Raised in a village in Siberia before moving to France when she was 7 – she finally moved to Los Angeles two years ago.

With six years of experience as an assistant to producers and production coordinator on a wide variety of projects, Nadejda has been lately exploring her artistic side, writing screenplays and taking courses with UCLA Extension.

Her first project is a very short film - ex-"Devil's in the Details" now called "Night Chills" - that she wrote and shot in August, 2020 in Los Angeles. The screenplay has won an Honorable Mention at Venice Film Awards, and she's about to submit it to international film festivals.

She is also developing a slate of three feature screenplays, all taking place in Siberia, Yakutia. The first one has won a pitch competition organized by Raindance.
