Tameka Mullins

I am a Detroit, Michigan native, author, poet, blogger and digital marketer who loves pop culture and traveling to exotic locations. My writing has been highlighted on NPR and in countless women’s periodicals and e-publications. I've worked at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Audible, The Girl Scouts of the USA, WCBS Radio and Newsweek. I am currently a contractor/web and social producer at Google. My short story, ‘Empty Lens’ is featured in ‘Welcome Home’ a YA anthology of adoption-themed fictional short stories and I have self-published a novella about the life of an adult film actor raising two children alone. I currently live in New York City and I'm transitioning into screenplay writing. I have a screenplay under my belt that I'm editing and a TV pilot I expect to be completed in a few months.
