About Robert

“I’m an actor filmmaker searching for my own path in this industry. Breaking ground with every step I take into changing the industry for a better representation of what our country looks like from a BIPOC/ latinx point of view. I was born and raised in the Bronx NY Grew up with my grandma, and parents that were into drug dealing and was incarcerated half my life. I attended p.s 94 elementary school and went to the same middle school as Tracy Morgan and went to Dewitt Clinton high school ( same as Ralph Lauren) where I overcame obesity, not to mention always being Bullied for my weight. I always loved fashion, music and TV / Film growing up, It allowed me to escape my harsh upbringings and the adversity I had to face being a Puerto Rican/ Dominican boy from the trenches. Early in my Adult life I was able to get a second chance, and focus on what made me feel fulfilled, truth is nothing is promised accept the promises you make & keep for yourself. I went to The American musical and dramatic academy, Attained a BFA with a focus on acting for film. Then went off to get my 1 year filmmaker certification from NYFA Hollywood. Currently I’m about to graduate from my 2 year program at NYU Tisch kanbar film school with a dual scholarship to the Clive Davis music school. Some recent Career highlights of mine is I’m an associate / production / music coordinator for DreamScope entertainment. Some other Important events is I have a Drama TV show in development with open gate now entertainment, currently looking for distributors. Some Awards and Achievements personal to me is launching BXBOY Productions Llc; Leaving all the darkness behind, overcoming adversity, losing 90lbs & chasing my dreams. Most important of all was finding #selfLove.”

Unique traits: LGBTQ+ / BIPOC / LatinX filmmaker Fluent in Spanish, great communication skills, and unique story teller told through an authentic lens. #Diversity #Inclusion
