About Kerson
Hi. I'm Kerson Leveque Raymond. My whole childhood in Haiti can be broken in many screenplays. Since childhood I was always fascinated by storytelling. While my peers chose other forms of activities, I chose to hang out amongst the much older folks from the neighborhood to hear stories of different genres from them.
I started writing in poetry form at a very early age and I got myself involved in every theatrical production throughout my high school and college years; whether working as a sound or lighting board operator to an assistant stage manager, My main goal was to learn as much as I could and get involved in all aspects of theater and film as possible.
It is through those early experiences I developed a knack as a raconteur and as a filmmaker.
I believe movies are made to either tell us something, make us aware of something, preparing us to deal with something or to broaden our imaginative world but in the pure form of entertainment.
I'm a writer, producer, director, editor, filmmaker. I have worked at TRISTAR MEDIA/TV Production as AV & Production Assistant.
