Dekontee is a singer, actress, comedian, and content creator based in Los Angeles.
Most recent theatre credits: Mamma Mia at East West Players, Invisible: A New Musical at 54 Below directed by Marc Kudisch, and The Music Man starring Adam Pascal at 5 Star Theatricals. "Friends with Awkwardness", a short film that Dekontee wrote, produced, and starred in was screened at the Fort Wort Film festival. She studied improv at Second City in Hollywood and played on a musical improv team with Bill Chott (SNL, This is Us, Wizards of Waverly Place) had an improv residency at ComedySportz in Los Angeles. Currently, she is in A Little Night Music at Greenway Court Theatre. She is a TikTok where she shares videos about the ups and downs of being a black woman in the acting industry. Currently a teacher at New York Film Academy and Urban Homeschoolers.
