Samkelisiwe Makhoba

Samke Makhoba is a young South African filmmaker who studied and completed a degree in Film and television Production (with honours) in Johannesburg at the University of Witwatersrand. This is where she majored in directing and editing.

Samke has spent the past few years as an actress appearing on a number of commercials, films, and TV series while focusing on writing films and creating concepts around the Drama and Africanfuturistic genres. She truly believes in the emergence of African culture, history, mythology and point of view in film. She aims to be a part of its growth while focuses on social issues related to mental health, women and children.
