I was at one of Van's recording sessions in '73. I was there at the studio recording with Southside Johnny and Van was in after us. I stayed for his session because two friends of mine who were in town playing with Donny Hathaway were on his session. You'd have to be a dinosaur to know how cool all of that is. :) The Hustle record was released in '75.
