Amy Baer's experience in the entertainment Industry uniquely spans major studios, independent financiers, and producing. Collectively, the films she has supervised and/or produced have grossed nearly $2 billion in worldwide box office. Her first film as a producer was the 2013 hit LAST VEGAS (starring Michael Douglas, Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman and Kevin Kline) which grossed $136MM worldwide.

In 2012, Baer raised a 7 figure development fund and launched Gidden Media, a content incubation and production company. Its first film, the romantic drama MARY SHELLEY, starring Elle Fanning (THE BEGUILED) and directed by Haifaa Al Mansour (WADJDA), had its World Premiere at the 2017 Toronto Film Festival. It was released by IFC in May 2018.

GM’s next film, the inspirational true story BRIAN BANKS, had its World Premiere at the LA FILM FESTIVAL on September 22nd, 2018, and won the LAFF Audience Award. Starring Aldis Hodge (UNDERGROUND), Oscar-nominee Greg Kinnear (LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE) and directed by Tom Shadyac (BRUCE ALMIGHTY),) the film tells the story of Brian Banks, an all-American high-school football player committed to USC by his junior year, whose life was upended in 2002 when falsely accused of rape. With the help of the California Innocence Project, Banks got his conviction overturned his name cleared in 2012 after a decade of wrongful imprisonment and parole. BRIAN BANKS is eyeing an early 2019 release.

Before starting her own company, Baer served as President & CEO of CBS Films (2007-2011), launching the division for CBS Corp. Baer spent the previous 17 years at Sony Pictures Entertainment, where she oversaw such hit films as 1997’s MY BEST FRIEND’S WEDDING, Oscar nominated ADAPTATION (2001), S.W.A.T. (2002), SOMETHING’S GOTTA GIVE (2003), and the 2006 holiday hit THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS, which earned Will Smith an Oscar nomination. She also developed the 2011 Oscar-nominated Sony hit MONEYBALL, starring Brad Pitt. She began her career at Creative Artists Agency in 1988 as an assistant to the late Jay Moloney.

Baer became Board President of Women in Film in June 2018, stepping into the role at a critical juncture in Hollywood, as the entertainment industry faces a broad reckoning over gender disparities and sexual harassment. Founded in 1973, Women In Film advocates for and advances the careers of women working in the screen industries – to achieve parity and transform culture.

Baer graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 1988 with a B.A. in English literature. She is married to producer Matt Baer (UNBROKEN), and has two sons. In addition to Women in FIlm, she also serves on the board of the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Project. She is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Producers Guild of America, and SAG-AFTRA.

Angela Molloy is WE tv’s vice president of development, based in the network’s Los Angeles office. She works closely with west coast based production partners and agencies to find fresh new unscripted programming for the network. She is currently an Executive Producer on WE tv series L.A. Hair, Marriage Boot Camp, and Bridezillas.

Prior to WE tv, Molloy worked as a production, development and acquisitions executive. She was a freelance showrunner with co-executive producer credits on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles for Bravo, A Sale of Two Cities for HGTV, Extreme Homes for Discovery Channel, and served as the executive producer for Mansion Hunters on Reelz Channel.

She also produced a number of pilots and series for a variety of networks including OWN (Life with La Toya), TLC (Maria and Courtney’s Wedding Fiesta), Esquire, A&E, and HGTV (Room Crashers).

In 2008, Molloy finished a one-year run with the TLC cable network as a Director of Programming. She took pitches for the network and helped oversee production on a number of new series and event specials including The Miss America Pageant. This marked a return to TLC after Molloy spent four years at the corporate headquarters in Maryland as an acquisitions and development manager.

Prior to joining the LA-based TLC team, Molloy was vice president of international at 3Ball Productions. In just over two years, she helped develop and produce Scott Baio is 45…And Single, The Pick Up Artist, and I Know My Kid’s a Star for VH1; and multiple pilots and development projects for Fox, Sci Fi, HGTV, Bravo, Comedy Central, E!, and syndicated shows. She was also the primary liaison with Eyeworks International. Traveling to MIP and other markets, she handled all US development of Eyeworks’ international formats – adapting them for US pitch. She also pitched 3Ball’s US projects in development to Eyeworks territories all over the world.

Molloy began her career with WETA-TV, the PBS affiliate and third largest producer of all national PBS programs. Molloy scheduled WETA’s daytime and acquired programming from other PBS stations and independent producers. She also worked at PBS’ headquarters in Alexandria, VA to help launch PBS Online’s Station Relations group. As the senior associate, she created and marketed online integration opportunities to all 349 PBS member stations.

Molloy holds a B.A. in Professional Writing and French from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh.

For 30 years as a producer Brad has worked in the acquisition of film properties to develop into motion picture screenplays; attachment of top tier talent to the package into motion pictures; the financing of the films; budgeting and overseeing the film production; marketing and distribution of the film.

Rule 1, 2 and 3 of producing motion picture is to GET THE MONEY. Accomplishments: Produced over 40 motion pictures. Brad has unique expertise resulting from his career successes in two major industries: film/television production and online finance (crowdfunding). After having a notable career as a producer of over 40 motion pictures, he then converged his talents to the online world by creating one of the first live stream TV stations.

When crowdfunding emerged, Brad secured financing of entertainment projects online. As vertical lead of film/tv/video at IndieGoGo, he tripled the contributions for the vertical to a high of 3 million per month. Going on to serve as Chief Crowdfunding Officer at FundAnything, Brad was responsible for back-to-back $1 million+ crowdfunding campaigns on a then brand new, unknown platform. At the time these were the 3rd and 4th highest raises for film in the crowdfunding space.

Brad was also instrumental in developing the start-up platform, Fanbacked, which specializes in curated entertainment crowdfunding campaigns. As a result of his roles as film financier, and leader in online media and finance, he has distinctive skills that can work in all aspects of media. These include the mastery of social networking, e-commerce, and film/tv/web production.

Bradley Gallo is the co-founder and President of Film and Television at Amasia Entertainment. Helmed by the former president and COO of Marvel Studios, Michael Helfant, Amasia has emerged as one of the top production companies in the industry today.

Amasia which is the production company behind the sequel series DARK SHADOWS: REINCARNATION for Warner Brothers and the grounded reboot of the GREEN HORNET franchise, set up at Universal.

Amasia will soon release WILD MOUNTAIN THYME, starring Emily Blunt, Christopher Walken, Jon Hamm, and Jamie Dornan. Previous credits include 2019’s Official Sundance Selection THEM THAT FOLLOW, starring Olivia Coleman, Jim Gaffigan, Walton Goggins, Kaitlyn Dever, Lewis Pullman, Alice Englert, and Thomas Mann.

Amasia Entertainment is a production, finance and management company based in Los Angeles. They're behind films like CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR, FEAR, INC., THE ROAD WITHIN, THE CALL AND MR. RIGHT. Amasia is currently in pre-production on FATE, written by Gary Whittar (ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, BOOK OF ELI).

Recently, Amasia opened up a bidding war for MY FAVORITE THING IS MONSTERS, with SONY picking up the project, which is now in development (see it on Deadline) and announced a new Television division led by industry veteran Tracy Mercer, formerly with Morgan Freeman's Revelations Entertainment (See it on Deadline here). Amasia just acquired the rights to the sci-fi feature WORLD BREAKER and the pilot DOPPEL (see more here).

Chris Moore is an Oscar-Nominated producer responsible for such films as Good Will Hunting, Manchester By The Sea, American Pie and Television shows such as Project Greenlight, The Chair and much, much more. Chris also serves on the National Board of Directors for the Producers Guild of America.

His impressive career spans decades on over 40 projects. As the co-creator of Project Greenlight with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Sean Bailey. Chris began his career dedicating his life to creative pursuits and continues to do so to this day.

Moore graduated from Harvard University and began his career working at USA Network and as a talent agent.

Christopher Lockhart is Hollywood’s foremost story professional. As Story Editor at WME, the world's largest diversified talent agency, Chris curates projects for A-list actors such as Denzel Washington, reading and exploring through piles of screenplays, magazines, books, old movies, TV shows, and pitches in search of potential film projects.

Chris began his career at International Creative Management (ICM), where he worked as script consultant to legendary talent agent Ed Limato, who represented industry giants such as Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, Michelle Pfeiffer, Liam Neeson, and Robert Downey, Jr. Chris later moved to the venerable William Morris Agency, which eventually merged with Endeavor to form WME.

As an educator and consultant, Chris has lectured around the world on the craft and business of screenwriting, and he has advised on countless feature films. Chris graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts with an MFA in dramatic writing and was awarded the school's Public Service Prize for his dedication to public education. He is an adjunct professor at National University's Professional Screenwriting Program. He has also taught at LA Valley College and UCLA. His writing workshop The Inside Pitch was filmed for Los Angeles television, earning him an Emmy Award nomination. Chris's creative counsel has been used on many hit films such as the 2016 Sundance Film Festival sensation The Birth of a Nation.

Chris crossed over into film producing with the cult horror hit The Collector (2009) and its sequel The Collection (2012), which opened in the top ten box-office. He also wrote and produced the award winning documentary Most Valuable Players (2010) which was acquired by OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network), and that Matt Roush of TV Guide reviewed as the “Sleeper of the week...Charming and disarming…A genuine treat.” Chris has set up several other projects, including A Rhinestone Alibi at Paramount, and Crooked Creek, a modern noir thriller.

Chris is a member of the Writers Guild, the Producers Guild, and the Television Academy. He lives in Beverly Hills, CA and has a ten-year-old son.

Conrad Vernon is an American director, writer, storyboard artist and voice over artist best known for his work on the DreamWorks animated film series Shrek as well as other films such as Monsters vs. Aliens, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted and Penguins of Madagascar. He also co-directed the adult animated film Sausage Party and the 2019 release of the animated movie The Addams Family.

Conrad is now tapped to direct an animated movie version of The Jetsons for Warner Bros. 

David Weddle is a prime time Producer and Writer with an impressive career spanning over two decades on award winning shows. David is currently a Co-Executive Producer and Writer for the Apple TV hit For All Mankind. Prior to this new Apple show, David was a Co-Executive Producer and writer on The Strain – a primetime television series created by the acclaimed writer/director Guillermo del Toro, based on his series of best selling novels, co-written with Chuck Hogan and showrunner Carlton Cuse (Lost) who served at the helm. He was also co-executive producer and writer on USA's Falling Water.

David began his career working on shows such Falling Skies, CSI, and Peabody Award-winning Battlestar Galactica. He has also written and produced for such series as Alphas, Defiance, The Fearing Mind, The Twilight Zone, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

She established her own law firm to enable up-and-coming filmmakers and producers to bring their stories to life. Jason Roberts has been working for the past decade as a Producer (PGA) setting up and handling a multitude of Productions in both Film and Television. Jason has recently been consulting on projects with Disney+, Hulu, Twentieth Television, Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Netflix, AGBO, Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, Village Roadshow, Legendary Television & Lionsgate amongst others.

Jérôme Paillard, Executive Director, Marché du Film

Jérôme Paillard started his career as an oboist and as a producer and CFO of the French classical record company Erato. In 1991, he became General Manager of Erato Films alongside Daniel Toscan du Plantier where he executively produced over a dozen feature films. He joined the Festival de Cannes as Executive Director of the Marché du Film in November 1995 to oversee the development and management of what is now heralded as the world’s leading film market. He is also the Co-Director of Ventana Sur, the first market specialized in Latin-American films, and the founder of Cinando.com, a leading online resource, communication and screening platform for the industry.

Aleksandra Zakharchenko, Project Manager, Industry Programs

Aleksandra was born in Kiev, Ukraine. She started off working as a coordinator at numerous music and cinema festivals. After finishing her Master’s degree in International economics, she was working on the elaboration of solar energy systems in Crimea and southern parts of Ukraine.

In 2012 she moved to France to devote herself fully to the realm of cinema, working as a festival programmer in Nancy. For three years she was part of Nisi Masa’s team as European Short Pitch project coordinator. She has also written for the UK film platform, Film Debate, as a foreign film critic. After obtaining her second Master’s degree in Cultural Management, she began working at Institut Lumière. Then in 2017 she joined the Marché du Film, where she’s currently working on her third edition as Industry Programs project manager.

Charlotte Hurni joined Cinando in August 2015, and is in charge of marketing & communication as well as partnerships. Holder of a master's degree in management of cultural organizations of Sciences Po, she has previously worked with international sellers (MK2, Indie Sales), distributors (Zeitgeist Films) and producers (Union Docs).

Jim Uhls is the screenwriter behind FIGHT CLUB (directed by David Fincher, starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, based off of the critically acclaimed Chuck Palahniuk novel) as well as the Doug Liman film JUMPER, which has grossed over $222 million worldwide. In addition, he is the writer/producer/director of the animated pilot Nate & Abe (starring Rachel Dratch, David Wain, Alyssa Milano, and Robert Ben Garant), writer/director/star of the short film People We Meet (co-starring Frederick Weller and Scott Adsit), and recently produced/co-wrote/starred in the feature film My Name Is David (co-starring Judy Reyes and Adepero Oduye).

Keith Broke His Leg is a semi-autobiographical comedy about 30 Rock star Keith Powell's self discovery when he is suddenly stripped of his ability to be mobile.

After an accident, Keith is forced to see the world in a new way when his wife, his friends, and especially his agent don’t make life easy for the incapacitated. What results is a series of visits with the floura and fauna of the the Hollywood comedy world, with most of the actors playing parodies of themselves.

The show features Keith’s off-kilter brand of wit, coupled with some genuinely thoughtful moments. Contemplating race, sex, friendship, marriage, and stereotypes, Keith Broke His Leg is "Louie" with a Los Angeles sensibility; "Curb Your Enthusiasm" with humanity, and “Inside Amy Schumer” with a black dude.

Lee Sternthal is a screenwriter, director and photographer who Co-Wrote and Co-Directed the film, The Words with Bradley Cooper and Zoe Saldana, which closed the 2012 Sundance Film Festival and was released by CBS Filmsand is currently the #2 romantic drama on Amazon Prime. 

Lee has written screenplays for every major studio, including Tron: Legacy for Disney, as well as scripts for Johnny Depp and Mel Gibson. He is currently looking for projects to attach himself as a director and producer. 

Lee has also worked as a photo journalist for the Trace and Vice. Lee had his first one- man photo show at the Soho House in West Hollywood in June, 2018 and taught a Master Class in screenwriting/directing at Swarthmore College and at Stage 32 in Los Angeles.

Michael Mandaville has worked for 25 years as a line producer, production manager and production supervisor. He wrote the thriller novel “Stealing Thunder” and the activist nonfiction book, “Citizen Soldier Handbook: 101 Ways For Every American To Fight Terrorism”. He has worked on numerous feature films in physical production, primarily as a Line Producer or Unit Production Manager in the Directors Guild of America. Mandaville has had 14 scripts optioned or hired to write. His “Stealing Thunder” series is an international thriller about an FBI agent stopping a legendary Russian spy to start World War III between China and the United States. His second novel, “A Cold Death” is in discussion for a TV Show in France. His third novel, “Journey” is almost finished for publication. Mandaville directed the short film, “The Big Bucks.” His short, “Winning the Race” was show at the Liberty Film Festival. The documentary “Guards of Honor” showed volunteer veterans at the Riverside National Cemetery. He received a B.A. in Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara and attended the B.A. Cinema program at Columbia College – Hollywood. He received his M.A. from USC in Professional Writing.

Your host Michael Polish is one today's most critically acclaimed filmmakers. He's been nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards and his movie Jackpot won the John Cassavetes Award at the ISA. Qasim Basir is an award-winning filmmaker whose first feature MOOZ-LUM was nominated for the NAACP Image Award. MOOZ-LUM stars Nia Long, Evan Ross & Danny Glover and is a coming-of-age tale about a Muslim boy going to college around the September 11 attacks. The film was released theatrically in 2011 and on additional platforms via Starz, Netflix and Amazon. The film gained international recognition, opening in over 25 countries.

Basir wrote and directed DESTINED, starring Cory Hardrict, Jesse Metcalfe, Margot Bingham, Hill Harper, Zulay Henao and La La Anthony. DESTINED premiered at the 2016 LA Film Festival, and has garnered numerous accolades including Best Director and Actor at the 2016 American Black Film Festival and Best Narrative Feature at Urbanworld that same year. DESTINED was released theatrically in the Fall of 2017 and on VOD platforms early 2018.

Basir recently directed and co-wrote A BOY. A GIRL. A DREAM, starring Omari Hardwick and Meagan Good. The film had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.

He is now on tap to direct the NFL biopic HAWK based on the life of Andrew Hawkins with Andre Gaines producing.

Samm Haillay is an award-winning producer and BAFTA member whose films have premiered at Cannes, Venice, Sundance, Tribeca, Toronto and London Film Festival and have collected 35 international awards and nominations worldwide. He won Best Documentary at the Tribeca Film Festival for ISLAND OF THE HUNGRY GHOSTS and was nominated for at Spirit Award.

A member of BAFTA, EAVE and ACE he is currently Head of Film at New York based finance house ViewPark. ViewPark's credits include AUTOBAHN (a scripted series from Neil LaBute), ABANDONED HEIGHTS (directed by Jack Stallings with Aden Young and Megan Boone), and PROMISE (Directed by Miles Roston, inspired by the true stories of the children of the Wema Center in Kenya).

Terence Blanchard has established himself as one of the most influential jazz musicians and film score masters of his generation, a member of a jazz legacy that has shaped the contours of modern jazz today.

With more than 30 albums to his credit, as a musician Blanchard is a multi-Grammy Award winner and nominee. As a film composer, Blanchard has more than 50 scores to his credit, most recently, Spike Lee’s “BlacKkKlansman,” “Chi-Raq” and Kevin Costner’s “Black or White.” He received a Golden Globe nomination for Spike Lee’s "25th Hour." Other film music written by Blanchard includes Kasi Lemmons’ "Eve's Bayou," Oprah Winfrey’s "Their Eyes Were Watching God," Tim Story’s “Barbershop" and George Lucas’ "Red Tails." Blanchard also contributed on Disney’s "The Princess and the Frog" as the musical voice of “Louis the Alligator."

She has had film premieres at Mammoth Film Festival (BURNING KENTUCKY), which took home the festivals Best Picture and Best Actress awards. Tyler Gillett is a film, television and new media writer, director and producer based in Los Angeles. He has recently directed the box office success SCREAM 5 for Spyglass Media Group and is in post-production on SCREAM 6. Prior to the SCREAM franchise, Tyler directed the 2019 hit READY OR NOT, which was one of the biggest successes for FOX Searchlight with a budget of $6MM and grossing over $57MM worldwide. He also directed READY OR NOT and DEVIL'S DUE for 20th Century FOX and The Orchard's SOUTHBOUND.

As one of the founding members of the filmmaking collective Radio Silence, Tyler got his break with the Sundance hit V/H/S, which originated with short form content he created.
