SYNOPSIS:

"Hole in None" begins with Jeffrey James at his great-aunt Winnie's funeral. He inherits the Royal Oxford Golf Club from her, along with a hint about a hidden treasure belonging to John Rattray. Upon arrival in the UK, Jeffrey finds the golf course in a state of neglect. He encounters various characters, like Phillipa, the club secretary, and Sarah, the green keeper, who help him navigate the unfamiliar terrain.

As the story progresses, Jeffrey struggles with cultural differences and the challenges of managing the golf course. He attempts to rejuvenate the club, dealing with issues like financial constraints, resistant club members, and the peculiarities of British social norms. Alongside these efforts, he becomes intrigued by the mystery of John Rattray's hidden treasure.
