One day I stumbled upon the online paper “The Electronic Intifada” – It described “Miss Palestine’s mistaken rebellion. “The authorities in Gaza, and especially Hamas thought it wasn‘t prudent to “hold a beauty contest” because “ showing beautiful girls in front of mass media and audience while our people in Gaza suffer… is reject and considered a blind imitation of Western values and traditions.” 

The screenwriters Vision:

Trying to use polarization in selling your film does NOT work if it can HURT political / economic relations between two countries -- in this case American - Israeli relations. It seems nowaydays the mantra has become "play it save!!"/

Playing it save! Seeing only the option of Lia being blackmailed in becoming an extremist, as if standard Hamas INDICTRINATION doesn't do the job!

Also. As many would feel. In a believable father--daughter relationship, Lia should be talked out of doing her terrible job by Roy -- giving her the possibility for redemption at the end of the movie." But this movie isn't about redemption, it's about building a RELATIONSHIP between Roy and Lia that could last.

Without the writers showing any political opinion, but knowing what ingredients are needed to make a thrilling explosive movie.

Introduction: Terrorism comes in many disguises. In the form of air assaults, bomb scares, psychological warfare, mass shootings, and internet hackings. Few have considered “fame” a way of deception and infiltration. If gone unchecked, celebrities can get very close to political targets. 

What if Hamas sacrifices their holy  beliefs ones – fooling everybody – using FAME as an EXPLOSIVE DISGUISE.  

LIA KILANI, (early--‐‑ 20’s), gorgeous, dedicated, is in the Palestine desert in black shroud and mask. She holds a machete steady to an American Journalist on his knees while YASER SHALLAH, (mid--‐‑ 40’s) , radical, seasoned terrorist, spouts off anger towards American capitalism into the camera, “Stay away from our oil reserves!” Lia raises the machete and cuts the Journalist’s head off. 

Seattle, ROY HANNA, (mid--‐‑ 50’s), logical, driven, is a retired CIA intelligence officer. He lives deep in the mountains and has been in solace for years. A former protégé of Roy’s and now the acting commander of an Anti--‐‑Terrorist Unit (ATU) working for Homeland Security pulls up to his cabin. He offers Roy tactical command to ensnare a terrorist group,  Hamas, planning to kill a politician running for president in America KENNETH WILKES, (65), fair, righteous. The scheme that is actively in progress is rigging numerous Palestine Beauty Pageants within the Middle East region to secure access to the US without detection or suspicion for a Miss Earth pageant, Lia is the beauty queen in the operation. Michael reveals Lia is Roy’s estranged daughter. Born from a short lived romantic relationship in the 90’s when he was still active in the CIA doing intel in Palestine. She is not aware Roy is her biological father.  Roy agrees to do the mission and is given credentials that vouch for him being an esteemed photographer from a highly publicized American magazine.

He catches a flight to Palestine and is whisked away to an undisclosed base of operation’s and is introduced to the rest of the team. They update him on all the surveillance on Lia and his first command it to plant a wiretap in her limo.  Lia is recorded paying off a beauty pageant judge in gold bars to secure a win in the next contest. After she wins the pageant Roy introduces himself at a celebration party as a Photographer and sets up a photoshoot. 

Roy and Lia meet in Cairo for the photo shoot and they socialize, forging a friendship, she offers Roy to be her personal photographer, he accepts. Later Lia meets with another judge at an opera house who cannot be bought off for the pageant that will get her into the Miss Earth competition in New York. Yaser has him blown up in a car bombing and another judge resumes his place giving Lia the winning vote. As Lia and her terrorist group prepare for the final mission into the US she learns of young girls kidnapped by rival terrorist who are set for honor rapes. Yaser convinces her to stay the course and ATU takes action with a rescue mission after learning this information over the limo wiretap. After an intense shootout, the girls are saved and taken to a Masque in Jordon. The radio broadcast the rescue and this tips off Yaser believing they are being spied on. 

Lia and Yaser take a private 747 flight to New York with Roy aboard. The rest of ATU travels by cruise ship as to not be detected by airliners with the plans to arrive on US soil at the same time.  Yaser learns of the ATU’s plans to arrest them from an inside source and that they are going to fly over the cruise ship momentarily crossing the Atlantic Ocean. He sends an Assassin parachuting down onto the cruise ship to kill the entire ATU team. Roy lands at JFK airport. To the horror, he hears his team is dead and he is alone on the mission. Homeland Security tells him he has a new team to carry out the mission but Roy declines; knowing an informant is working for Hamas, he can’t risk it. 

Lia, Yaser, and Roy check into The Plaza Hotel where the Miss Earth Pageant is to take place in a ballroom. Kenneth’s daughter is competing and he will be in attendance. Yaser prepares Lia mentally and physically for her suicide bombing. He has her swallow tiny balls of C--‐‑4 explosives and is to hug Kenneth at the after-party, pressing the pencil detonator killing him and by standers… 

Roy discovers the location of a bombing to deface one of America’s national monuments, The Statue Of Liberty to go off at the same time Lia detonates hers. Roy discreetly follows Yaser to the statue and he plants a bomb inside the structure, Roy disarms it.

Back at the hotel, Yaser discovers Roy is an agent for Homeland Security and has one of his henchmen stab him and take his body to be buried in some marshes. Roy awakens from blood loss in time to kill the henchmen and races through traffic to stop Lia minutes away from killing Kenneth. The NYPD raids the hotel and arrest Lia and Yaser. The top story on the news “Terrorist Attack Foiled”. 

Lia avoids extradition back to Palestine when Roy takes a DNA test proving she is half American and his daughter, she is sentenced to life in prison in upstate New York. Yaser is beheaded by ANTI and it’s posted on the internet. Roy writes a letter to Lia revealing he is her father with a picture of them from a photoshoot and they begin a new relationship.
