Young, bisexual grifter Julian Wexler must balance two very different families and their worlds: that of his prominent father and the clan of con artists he adopted years earlier.

SYNOPSIS:

"Scoundrels" centers on Julian Wexler, the illegitimate son of millionaire Phillip Highland and his former executive assistant, Sarah Wexler. Julian ran away from home at the age 18 and soon hooked-up with master grifter Reggie Waterhouse. It is now about five years later and Julian has returned to Pittsburgh to care for his dying mother and finally connect with his paternal family —- all while continuing his lucrative career as a con artist for as long as he can.

The pilot introduces the key characters and their relationships and concludes with Sarah's death --- leaving Julian to navigate the two worlds alone.
