About Wendy
Experience in the television industry at both PBS (Plattsburgh, NY) and NBC (Washington, DC) during my undergraduate and graduate work. I am looking to continue to grow as a screenwriter while balancing a full-time job. My co-written screenplay "The Crooked Cross" placed in the quarter finals for the 2014 ScreenCraft Action and Thriller Script Contest and the 2022 Script2Comic contest, while Christmas from the Crapper placed in the QF at the Filmmatic Comedy Season 8 Awards. My co-written horror short SLICE placed as a SF in the 28th Annual Fade in Awards. Most recently my TV Pilot ' The Phil Fontana Show" placed as a SF in the 2024 Emerging Screenwriters Comedy Screenplay competition. I also completed a mentorship program where I look forward to leveraging my newfound knowledge to create compelling screenplays.
Currently seeking a literary agent but continuing to go it alone and create my own networks.
