About Chad

After a college wrestling career, 12-years as an Army Noncommissioned Officer, a brief stint as an Under Armour Director ofTactical Fitness, and a Senior Consultant for Human Performance Analytics stint... Chad chose to venture to the bright lights of the Hollywood industry. In 2020, he founded Battleborne Comics: Creative content forged from combat, a veteran owned comic book studio with a mission of "establishing entertainment industry inroads for aspiring veteran creators". Since then, he's written and published four comic titles, won two Best Screenplay competition awards, and directed two movie shorts (Chapter & Hearse: The Misadventures of the Mob's Most Mediocre Assassin & Assassins' Guild of America). As a 2022 Alumni of the Writers Guild Foundations Veterans Writing Project, an Academy of Nicholl's Fellowship Reader for 2022 and Roadmap Writers Diversity Initiative Runner-up, Chad prides himself on breaking down the traditional paradigm of the Hollywood entrance.

Chad finds his passion in most things PG-13 or dark comedy with a flare for drama and alternative history projects. He strives to help other military veterans find a more direct route to employment in the form of staffing and creative development through network connection.
