Stage 32 is excited to welcome Michael Bishop back for his upcoming webinar!
Once an AD has created a schedule and had a successful location scout and Pre pro meeting with the entire crew what happens at GO?
It now becomes their responsibility to be a leader using that schedule as a beacon to ensure the team can make the schedule each day.
What does that entail? Keeping the days on time, getting all the needed and scheduled scenes, helping the director get their vision.
But days go over, unexpected curveballs are thrown, actors arrive late, locations have issues, weather changes, crew gets sick and a good AD is able to pivot quickly, communicate clearly and balance keeping both efficiency and morale high.
Not only will Michael bring clarity to the responsibilities of an AD during production, but he will also share proven tips and tricks on how to manage all of the relationships on set as well as the many tricky situations that are certain to arise at some point.
Plus! Receive an assistant director checklist.

The Whiplash short film is really well structured. Also, we are breaking down Wes Anderson’s Oscar winning short film today in the writers’ room: https://www.stage32.com/writers-room
