I don't know who's at fault here, but I suspect there's a little on both sides.

$500k is a lot, Tucker Teague! I wonder if Simon Afram and Edward Kahl would've had better results if they used that money to pitch the script or hire a director to make them a proof of concept/short film to get an A-list cast and director interested.
