Monica Sufar

In an executive career spanning over 20 years, Monica has worked in various aspects of the entertainment industry: theatrical and television acquisitions, strategy, launching new networks and revamping old ones, business affairs, talent negotiations, development, and production. Often working in a multicultural environment, Monica previously worked for HBO, Cinemax, Turner Latin America, and Warner Bros Discovery. As an independent producer, she is working on the other side of the table, developing, and producing feature films and series in a variety of genres and subjects. Monica’s recent work as an EP includes 5 television series for WB and the feature films Maybe a Love Story, Two Deaths Of Henry Baker, which was showcased at the 2020 Austin Film Festival, and Detained, with Abbie Cornish. As a writer, Monica has sold her first screenplay in 2021.
