Luke Mindlin

I’m an east coaster and got my start working in the comedy world on Late Night with Conan O’Brien and SNL in New York but have more recently been developing in the drama space on multiple levels. When I first moved to LA in 2015, I started working for Quentin Tarantino’s former producer, Lawrence Bender, then went on to work on Stranger Things, and subsequently moved over to Morgan Freeman’s Revelations Entertainment to focus on development.
While at Revelations, I worked with a team that packaged and sold a diverse range of projects to Showtime, Amazon, CBS TV Studios, Peacock, Paramount Global, Alcon and others while working on episodic development of shows in production like Madam Secretary on CBS and the soon-to-be-released The World According to RZA on Showtime. I also worked with a group of producers, led by Lori McCreary, at the Producers Guild to develop production safety protocols for independent productions during the pandemic and have a passion for collaborating with others to create a safer on-set environment.
Currently, I’m producing a feature with CAA and focusing on finding series within the thriller, genre, and comedy spaces. My passion is more than developing and producing; it’s about creating and building relationships and the stories that come out of them. Working with writers and talent to produce commercial, meaningful and thought provoking projects that cut through the noise is my highest priority.
