Alessandro Paganelli is a composer and guitarist based in Berlin, who has worked in the last years internationally in the field of composition and as a performer.
He has created music for various commissions (Ameritz Music-Great Britain; Ostereo -Great Britain; Movement Head Quarters Ballet Company -USA ; Choreographer Shannon Maynor -USA; Believe Music-France; Christopher Larson, USA; Szilard Varnai, Germany; Quartet Berlin-Tokyo) and performed as solo guitarist as well as with orchestras.
He has released two EPs, "Drifting" (2017) and "Nebula" (2018) and the full-length Album "Sum", a collection of nine compositions about self-introspection, released on March 2020.
In 2020 he was commissioned by the New York-based Ballet Company Movement Head Quarters with a score based on Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, which was performed in 2021 in Brooklyn (USA).
Five Movements, one of his last projects in collaboration with the dancer and choreographer Shannon Maynor (USA), features five compositions written for neoclassical dance and released between 2021/2022.
