Emily Skyle-Golden

As a News Anchor, Emily Skyle loved delivering headlines but quickly learned she enjoyed telling the in-depth stories behind them even more - so she spent the next decade finding her voice on the Chicago stages of Second City and iO. Years of watching her script’s quirky and diverse characters get whitewashed into Hollywood stereotypes prompted her to become a filmmaker. Since then, Emily’s short films have played at top tier festivals around the world. Her most recent film, 10 Syllables, premiered at Cannes as one of seven short narrative finalists in the American Pavilion’s Emerging Filmmaker showcase. Her current film, Three Clicks, is a thriller that stars Oscar nominated and Golden Globe winning talent, Eric Roberts. She’s also excited to return to her roots and is thrilled to be collaborating with some of her comedy heroes on a new mockumentary series that begins shooting in the fall of 2021.
