Valerie Gobos

Valerie Gobos is an independent producer, actress, marketing agent and
entrepreneur. She heads up Gobos Film & Entertainment, researching
and representing screenplays, books and life stories for the big and
small screens, as well as marketing anyone and anything that she finds
fascinating and interesting.

Valerie works with a variety of other producers, writers, directors,
animators, visual effects artists, AR, VR & AI innovators, editors,
photographers and musicians around the world for films, television,
documentaries, music videos, commercials, and branded content in the
entertainment and advertising industries.

She has done marketing for many impressive companies including
Universal Studios and Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios.

Always involved in the arts, Valerie went full circle being a student in
fine arts, to the performing as an actress, singer, dancer, model, which
then led her to her love and passion of filmmaking.

Her hands on experience came from working on films and television
sets as a stand in for actress’ such as Jane Fonda, Kate Capshaw, Maude
Adams, Kate Jackson, as well as working production in various
departments, and also being in front of the camera.

Valerie was a producer on the film Brides, executive produced by Martin
Scorsese and directed by Pantelis Voulgaris,
She was also a producer on Brat II staring the late Sergei Bodrov Jr., and
the recent documentary about the well-known architect Benjamin
Marshall.

She has acquired the rights to Meyer Lansky’s Diary, the late Marilyn
Chambers’ story, Mahalia Jackson, the unsolved disappearance of the
Candy Heiress Helen Brach, The Grimes Sisters, Richard Speck, and
many other compelling and exciting books, screenplays and life stories.

Valerie is from Chicago and lives in Los Angeles, California.
