About Amanda

As a screenwriter, I find the freedom to express ideas in layers, and share "the movie in my mind" for other creatives looking for clear, but unconventional groundwork in their cinematic productions.

Amanda O'Connor grew up on the plains of Oklahoma and studied English at her hometown Cameron University. She was the Editor of action adventure fiction for the Jabari & Jaser imprint of the Zharme Publishing Press, Editor of the Eagle Rock/Highland Park MOMS Club Newsletter, and Editor of the Lawton High School Tatler. She's currently writing screenplays as a manager at House of Bleu Productions. Her writing includes articles, short stories, poetry and screenplays. She's also been a visual art and photography teacher in public schools. She studied visual art in Austin, Texas and lives in Los Angeles, CA.
