Band on the Run stars the affable Larry Bagby, known as "Ice" from the Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus, and "Marshall Grant" from the Academy Award-winning film, Walk the Line, with Joaquin Phoenix.

Este largometraje documental se basa en parte en más de 300 entrevistas de víctimas y 4 años de investigación, y combina entrevistas íntimas y personales con imágenes de acción en vivo de concentraciones de víctimas en Barcelona, Valencia, Málaga y Sevilla, protestas públicas y cobertura de sesiones de estrategia de víctimas, reuniones y una mirada dentro del juicio del Dr. Vela (acusado de robar cientos, incluso miles de bebés durante décadas) para proporcionar a la audiencia una mirada completa a estos horribles actos de violación, y la lucha de los derechos humanos. A los cineastas también se les concedieron derechos exclusivos para las exhumaciones de víctimas que revelaron más mentiras y preguntas sin respuesta.
