Let’s Make Films focus on Virtual Production continues with Dr Jodi Nelson-Tabor and James Codling from Final Pixel Academy and Final Pixel presenting a session on “The New Roles and Learning Pathways of Virtual Production”. There will also be small group exercises on script and VFX breakdowns for Virtual Production. Anyone interested in the upcoming 48 Hour London Sci-Fi Film Challenge? Meet potential cast and crew and form teams at the event. Go creative and bring informational materials about your business, and samples of your state-of-art work in a tangible form, don't forget to bring your name cards and a good mood! Everybody pays their own bill for food and drinks at the restaurant, and, if opted for the viewing of the collection, take care of booking their own ticket entrance to the museum in advance.For interested and registered persons the updates and perks will be sent individually. Stage 32 Los Angeles Meet Up!
Hey LA-based creators! We're meeting up for another killer happy hour at The Phoenix in Los Angeles! We're heading back to The Phoenix in Los Angeles for the next round! Join Stage 32 Community Manager Kay Ross and Blog Editor Emily J. for an evening of conversation with your fellow directors, screenwriters, producers, and other creatives. The event starts at 6pm on the back patio, and goes til 9pm. See you there! If you've never been to this location before, I would highly recommend parking in the garage across the street (for Target and T.J. Maxx) at 100 N. La Cienega Blvd. Also, in years past, we've been able to accept donations so our networking events can do twice the good of normal industry parties. This year, we would love to accept any canned or packaged foods to donate to the LA Food Bank! When you check in with me, or Kay as you enter, we'll have a box to accept food donations: hot or cold cereals, dry and canned beans, canned soups, stews, peanut butter, tuna, and canned fruits and vegetables. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated! And then you'll have your hands free to grab a drink and a snack and get networking!
