LET'S MAKE FILMS EVENT - THURSDAY 1ST FEBRUARYAARDMAN @ FRAMESTORE Doors Open: 6.30pmEvent: 7pm-9pm Ext: 10.30pm (Networking to continue after 9pm at a local pub close to Framestore) The presentation this time is: “The Secrets of Stop Frame Animation” with Will Becher, an Academy Award nominated director and animator at Aardman Animations - https://www.aardman.com/ http://www.willbecher.co.uk/ Will is going to provide an overview of Aardman's history and productions to date, as well as demonstrating some of the secrets of stop-frame animation, from character and set creation to various aspects of the animation process. I believe he could be bringing some of the models and props as well! There will also be pitches, breakout tables, networking, group exercises and more opportunities to meet potential cast and crew for future short film projects. We will also be announcing our plans for 2024 to organise different types of events throughout the year, including cinema screenings, workshops and masterclasses, as well as entering film festivals and other competitions. January Stage 32 Phoenix In Person Meetup
Hey, Phoenix-based creators! This month, I’m hosting our third in-person Stage 32 Meetup here in Phoenix, Arizona! Theatre Workshop “Physicality in Acting”
Hello Creative Minds! We are thrilled to invite you to our inaugural "Physicality in Acting" workshop in Berlin, taking place from January 8th to 12th, 2024! In this 5-day intensive workshop, Sergei will share his insights on becoming an effective performer, director, or choreographer. Winter Romance Screenwriters - December Meeting
About the group: Holiday Romance Writers: Have you written a holiday romance screenplay or two (or ten) -- or are thinking about one? Or do you want to improve your storytelling skills -- on the page &/or out loud? This is the group for you. This group will meet quarterly via zoom and will have discussion topics such as: movie breakdown, first pages, tropes and cliches, conflict, originality, etc. Led by author and screenwriter Rie Anders, each meeting will focus on one topic and is open to change based on participation. In addition, we are seeking to host Table Readings (out loud) of finished screenplays by member writers, for feedback and fun!
