I have been a graphic designer for over 10 years, writing is my passion and the career I want. I have done comedy stand-up for over 10 years and I love it. Then something happened...I gave birth to the funniest kid. She is my muse and since she was born I really couldn't take her to comedy clubs and have her sleep in the Green Room (if there is any) at 1am. So I decided to write, but I wanted to write political comedy so I needed some training.
I took a Talk Show Portfolio Class at iO Comedy in Chicago, IL. My teacher and mentor is Michael McCarthy. He showed me how to write and what to look for between the lines. I love the class. It gave me a boost of confidence that I can do this. I haven't looked back since.
Unique traits: I have a knack for off the comment one-liners.
