At long last he is restored to the arms of his one true love, and the other principal characters are properly paired as the curtain falls. Running time: 2 hours 40 minutes, excluding intermission. The play requires a large cast of 39 actor-singer-dancers, all of whom perform multiple roles under the Actors' Equity Favored Nations Agreement The "painterly" scenery represents multiple, cinematically rapidly changing locales.
