Alia is a business and entertainment law attorney representing and advising small business owners, start-ups and entrepreneurs in the entertainment and tech industries.
A graduate of Albion College with Bachelor's Degrees in Music and Communication Studies with an emphasis in Mass Media, Alia has always had a creative spirit. Prior to attending law school, Alia worked at J. Timothy Esper & Associates where her interest in law was sparked. In an effort to combine her passions of law, entrepreneurship and creativity, Alia decided to attend law school. In 2011, Alia received her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School where she completed the corporate law track, as well as the business and entertainment law practicums. During her time at Loyola, she worked in production legal with NBC Universal, Ramo Law and Saddle Ranch Productions. Alia also interned with Independent Law Group and Rainstorm Entertainment. After graduating from Loyola, Alia worked at Levine & Blit LLP, where she was senior associate practicing employment law.
Alia is a featured lecturer with WebTV Workshop where she enjoys helping new media producers to learn the basics of copyright, trademark, corporate formation and other legal issues.
Alia is admitted to practice by the State Bar of California and the US District Court for the Central District of California.
