I am an artist and video professional based in Los Angeles. I have worked as a full time video editor of promotional and training videos for Google and a freelance editor of promotional and educational videos for the Whitney Museum of American Art. I also have experience editing documentary projects by Sam Green, Micha Peled, and Craig Baldwin. Over the past few years I have taught video courses at Parsons and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and led visiting artist workshops on video at the Academy of Fine Arts Finland, the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart Germany, and the Zurich University of the Arts in Switzerland.
My personal video art has been exhibited at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the Gwangju Biennial, the Berlin Biennial, the Bucharest Biennial, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, Ullens Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing, Yvon Lambert in Paris, MoMA PS1 in Queens, New York, and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. Videos have screened at the New York Film Festival, the San Francisco International Film Festival, the Images Festival, and the Ann Arbor Film Festival. My work has been featured in Aperture, Art in America, Artforum, Buzzfeed, Dazed, e-flux journal, Frieze, Gizmodo/Gawker, The New Yorker, T Magazine, and Wired. Several works are in the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art Warsaw, the Institute of Contemporary Art Miami, the Stolbun Collection, Collection Lambert, and the Kadist Foundation.
