I write features with a strong female lead, often with fantasy/supernatural themes and often with a social justice component. I love creative collaborations with other filmmakers in the various professions as a way to challenge myself to write even deeper stories!

In addition to my own writing, I am a creative coach and script consultant.

As a creative coach, I work with filmmakers and other artists to get projects up and running, get to the finish line, and very importantly to prioritize so that they can get to a point of making a living from their craft.

As a script consultant, I work with writers from beginners to Emmy-nominated artists who write for all formats. My role is to help you to get to the heart of your story, to push you to write a story that goes from mundane to germane, and to have richly developed characters that we want to follow.
