About Lawrence

Film a lifelong passion. After finishing Master's degree in Communications at University of North Dakota (with a thesis studying Martin Scorsese's "Taxi Driver"), I attended Vancouver Film School and set up a film making group, Venus Probe Productions. First music video I directed broadcast on Much Music Loud in Canada in 2002. First short film presented at Cinemuerte Film Festival in Vancouver in 2001. Many more short films and videos to follow and be shown. Worked as a chase producer in the establishment of a new morning show on CTV in Regina, Canada in 2011-2012. Directed and co-produced a talk show on Shaw TV in Winnipeg in 2014. Worked with The National Film Board of Canada to produce and develop a historical documentary, which I eventually wrote and directed for the MTS Stories from Home cable channel in Winnipeg, Canada. Currently developing more projects for Venus Probe, as well as freelance producing and project development for Blackwatch Entertainment in Winnipeg.
