About C.S.

When my family moved back to the states from Korea, like many kids, movies, TV and comic books were my gateway to learning English and American mannerisms. No doubt that learning this from TV shows and movies made it very easy to blend in... Heh... not so much, but I quickly found friends who vibed with my eccentricities and many of them are still friends to this day. To boot, my English is solid and my love for storytelling has only grown every moment (and continues to). It is, at the deepest recesses of my being, a profound aspect of my character.

I wrote and directed Melt, a short film project used as an exercise to learn firsthand what it takes to make a film from tip to tail. Much was learned. I've recently completed a one hour TV pilot (dramatic thriller) and moving on to writing a feature length live-action paranormal dramedy, and also close to pulling the trigger for a six-minute short that I'd like to have in the can by end of Spring.

Like many of you, I'm here to meet likeminded people who can share my love and respect for storytelling.

Unique traits: My ethnicity is half Korean, with the other half made up of a blend of Slovakian and Scotch/Irish. I'm an accomplished illustrator, can code to a moderate degree and have a background in visual effects for video game development. I'm also a practiioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do and cycle on a regular basis so I am quite athletic as well.
