Camila Correa Soya is a Chilean trilingual actress and singer-songwriter of French and Hungarian descent. Camila was born in Viña del Mar, Chile, but started out her acting career in Dublin, Ireland, where she moved at the age of 24. It was there where she trained herself in theatre, films/TV and musical theatre and did her musical theatre exams at the Royal Irish Academy of Music for which she got distinction. After her studies in Ireland, she went on with her acting training in London and New York.
Camila has worked in films, theatre, musical theatre and commercials between Ireland and UK. She is also a classical trained ballerina, a guitar player and has worked as a runway and catalog model for up-and-coming fashion designers. One of her particularities as an actress, is that she has been cast several times for her multicultural look, which has given her the chance to play characters of different nationalities.
Camila was firstly trained as a journalist, but she abandoned this career to pursue her dream of working as an actress and a singer.
Unique traits: Trilingual, multicultural look, mixed race, singer (mezzosoprano- belter), trained ballerina and dancer (ballet, modern and contemporary dancing)
