Currently CEO of DAConsulting, Cornelius directed the digital media outreach programs for high school journalism at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The groundbreaking program built high school multimedia journalism programs in Arizona by providing training, equipment and support.
Cornelius is an Apple Distinguished Educator and an Apple Pro Products Certified Editor and Trainer.
Before coming to ASU, he built the state’s premier high school broadcast education program at Arcadia High School in the Scottsdale School District. Cornelius has received numerous awards, including the Everyday Heroes Cox Communications Technology in Education Award, The Freeman Hover Award for Journalism, Arizona Career and Technical Educators Program of the Year, and the Arizona Department of Education Spotlight on Success Award.
He currently leads an industry team developing standards for multimedia technologies for the state of Arizona. In addition he serves on the international advisory boards for the Global Education Conference, School Tube and Student Television Network.
In June of 2013 he opened The Hub at Civitan Village. This multifaceted training center specializes in multimedia skill training for individuals with developmental disabilities.
