About Derek
Born in Northern Ontario, in the border town of Sault Ste. Marie, Stephen spent much of his adult life as a performer or staging technician. Steve studied both, Theatre Tech and later, Film Studies, at Ryerson University in Toronto. He is a parent, grandparent, songwriter, producer, actor, screenwriter and filmmaker, currently living in the charming village of Mindemoya on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada.
Unique traits: was born celiac and autistic, which forced me to step outside the scientific materialist mind set.
