About Freyja

I've always been a writer. I work in all formats and have performed professionally as a spoken word artist in Australia, California and Northern Ireland. I've created limited edition art books of poetry and prose and I've written short stories for many years. I have a novel in process and I'm breaking into screenwriting. I'm passionate about narrative, the intricate subtleties of narrative structure and the theories around the archetypal narrative.

My genre of choice would be speculative fiction; a rather wide brush, these days.

I have background acted in film and tv since 2012; Krypton, Frankenstein Chronicles, The Special Couple, Game of Thrones, The Cured and a few other things. I have extensive theatre experience onstage and backstage.

I am currently studying for a MPhys in Astronomy, and working on a science/speculative fiction book
