About Garrick

At the age of 14 Garrick was introduced to music by his father who was an established bass player , who had records that inspired him to pursue to do music. Garrick took piano lessons at 15 and learned how to program audio tracks on music video games. Garrick started out in music production in Miami, FL where he worked with a rap group who was about to get signed with Lil Jon’s team BME Recording.. Garrick was able to work in Hit Factory Studios where he was surrounded by great professionals such as Lil Jon. Garrick later decided to take his own path and decided to move back to Memphis, TN.

In 2005 Garrick was able to work himself into another situation under Iced Out Production Studios working under another up and coming producer by the name of Tracksmith. Where Garrick work with artists such as M.C. Mack, Koopsta Knicca, Ganagsta Boo, etc. Garrick also worked closely with international recording artist on his Frankie Decarlos. Frankie’s album entitled “Frankie Decarlos” which had success in Japan and Paris. A few years later in 2010 Garrick met Niko Lyras in which he went onto sign to Cotton Row Studios where alongside other great musicians and producers such as Multi Platinum producer Carlos “Six July” Brody . It was also where Garrick instantly gained local success as he produced for BET winners Jessica Ray and Yung Taz in the Wild Out Wednesdays competition which Yung Taz won the competition with the record called “Playstation”.

In 2012 Garrick landed his first TV Placement with Gould’s Salon and Spa commercial track that he produced alongside James Joseph who he also worked with. Garrick’s career goals moving into the future is to work with more professional and established artists that are major and independent and also to compose more music for film and television. Garrick was also signed under Shaun Bless who is 1/2 half of Soul Diggaz new production company.
