Having grown up in Silicon Valley before it inherited the catchy nickname; his practical and digital skills are both well honed. He grew up around relatives in construction, technology, quality management, and engineering. He learned a great deal from all who were involved in his life. A working chef from the age of 17 who then dabbled in direct marketing and finally settled into digital media, he has since broadened his skillset to include survivalism, woodworking, gun smithing, electrical and solar power systems design for remote locations, and automotive maintenance and diagnostics. If it can be built, repaired, restored, or created from raw materials, he is highly adept and capable.
His current focus is on 3D modeling, rendering, and environment design but he has worked in the past as camera operator, photographer, broadcast systems integrator, live music event producer, web designer, post production specialist, SPFX makeup artist, audio engineer, and director. As a closet poet and hack philosopher he is also great with script and copy editing, writing, and hearing others' ideas or visions and bringing them to life.
In his free time you will find Jeff enjoying the ocean, in the high sierras on overland 4x4 trips, boating, fishing, cooking delicious food somewhere between sea level and the timberline, helping friends and family, co-hosting a broadcast radio show, and marveling at the beauty of this Universe.
