I am a Nigerian-Canadian independent filmmaker with a bachelors degree in theatre arts and a Diploma in Documentary Production from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada.
I have several years of production experience and my films have enjoyed screening time in several film festivals in Canada including Digi60 Filmmaker's Festival, Mirror Mountain Film Festival and others. My film Undertow won the third place award at the Ottawa International Film Festival's 72-Hour Film Challenge. I recently produced three short films in collaboration with Black History Ottawa, a Canadian NGO, that help senior citizens avoid financial abuse. The project was partly sponsored by the government of Canada.
