Jan De Block

In 2015, Jan was selected as finalist for the speeddating between composers and directors, organized by the Brussels Film Festival. This triggered him to start a new music project: Silent Noise Revolution, about soft harmonic piano notes on a bed of abstract noise. In 2016 and 2017, Silent Noise Revolution was selected by Nils Frahm, on his "piano day 2016" and "piano day 2017" playlists (piano day is the 88th day of the year, there are 88 keys on a piano).

Until 10 years ago, Jan composed for commercials and TV shows. Since then, he shifted his focus to artistic and movie projects.

Together with Odette Di Maio, he founded "Miss O". Their debut album Infection (2012) was received very well by the italian music press. Since then, Miss O released an EP (2014), a double single (2015), and a new album is planned for 2016.

Miss O was finalist at OZU film festival 2012 with an original Miss O score for the first Alice in Wonderland movie.

Jan also works with Kyoko Baertsoen (ex-Hooverphonic) as composer/producer for her first solo album, released in March 2017.
