About Jane
I'm a produced screenwriter based out of New Jersey. I've been writing for many years, optioned a few scripts, and placed and/or won in a number of competitions. All but one of my feature and short scripts have a female protagonist, and my favorite genres are rom/coms, horror, and suspense-thrillers.
I just optioned my third short horror script, "The Breakup" to Thomas Bauer, owner of Malteserkreuz Film.
This spring, I sold my rom/com feature "The Mix-Up" to Jyoti Kapur Das, Director/Producer of Good Karma Calling. The script will be made into a Hindi version and is currently in pre-production.
In late 2023, I sold my second short horror script, "Bad Clown" to Christine Jansen, owner of Beautiful Darkness Productions. I connected with Christine right here on Stage 32! "Bad Clown" was filmed and is currently entered in multiple festivals. It's already won Best Horror, Best Indie Short Film and Best Director in the Paris Film Awards, Best Micro Short in the Berlin Shorts, and was an Official Selection in the NJ Horror Con, Jersey Devil Fable, Phantasmagoria, and Jersey Shore Film Festival.
