About Jenny

I was born to create and express, whether through words, music or photos. I'm a music composer and creative writer. I compose piano-based, classical-inspired music, as well as musical theater songs, lyrics and a variety of instrumentals ranging from classical to meditational to inspirational/pop that are suitable for film/TV. I've played piano for 46 years so that's where you'll hear my essence speak. I'm a vocalist in the broadway musical slash adult contemporary sense.

I've written poetry since I was a kid and created chapbooks for the past ten years. I have a website where I post poetry, photos, music and blogs about everything I've seen--from an artistic viewpoint. I write and compose about life, its phenomenal manifestations and impact, which includes the dark side, death, loss and the cycle of renewal that rises from nothing like a phoenix out of ashes. I'm a SGI Buddhist, so much of my perspective is guided by the philosophy of hope and optimism, which finds its way into everything I produce.

I've gigged as a professional pianist/vocalist for 25 years. I've composed for short films, from Horror to Comedy. Currently, I'm working on a piano album and a short musical play. See the 'links' section for access to my writing samples and music.
