Jim spent 18 years as a teacher of composition and literature before embarking on his own creative career.
His most recent feature-length screenplay, Turning Two, is the 2012 Grand Prize winner of the "Shoot in Philadelphia" screenwriting contest. It was also a semi-finalist in the 2012 Vail Film Festival screenwriting contest, and is currently a contender in the Act One screenwriting contest.
Currently living in Long Island with his wife and three girls, he divides his time between soaking up life, and squeezing it out through a pen point or keyboard.
