John David Antesberger III

Currently based in the the rolling Piedmont of Central Virginia, USA. Over the past few years I've been focused on analog, monochrome, photography; only just now getting back into shooting digitally. I'm looking to make an impact in the creative sphere of life as much as I can. Cinema has had a profound impact on my life since I was very young, and am admittedly a raging screen junkie. Some of my inspiration comes from creatives like the Duplass Brothers, Hitchcock, Christopher Nolan, Ari Aster, David Eggers, and Kubrick for film directors; and from photographers/cinematographers like Michael Kenna, Roger Deakins, Hoyte van Hoytema, and Wally Pfister.

P.S. When I'm not snapping photos, I'm reading, or writing. I do research specifically on the subjects of the history of symbolism and esotericism in the West and it's intersection with Christianity. If that's something of interest for your project I'm happy to chat about it.
