John H. Rogers III is a Emmy Nominated Producer and Award Winning filmmaker that studied film at Columbia College Chicago. His education in film began in his high school junior year where he took introductory courses in many of the film classes he would later study in College. After attending Columbia College, John focused his attention toward screenwriting and continued his education of film at the Screenwriter's Group in Chicago under the tutelage of Dan Decker. Shortly thereafter, John successfully directed his first effort titled, 'La Petite Morte'.
As a screenwriter, John has written several screenplays in the past 13 years covering almost every genre including action, horror, thrillers and dramas. In 2014 John was nominated for a Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Achievement For Documentary Programs for his Award Winning documentary, Mound Bayou: Jewel Of The Delta.
