About Kevin

Kevin Power has received critical acclaim as a singer/actor from the Times of London, Globe and Mail and Opera Canada. Stage credits include Tony Award Winning Musicals: The Phantom of the Opera, (dir. Harold Prince) (M. Andre); Urinetown:the Musical (dir. John Rando) (Tiny Tom, Canadian Premier) ; Les Miserables (M. Thenardier); Beauty & the Beast (Cogsworth), Annie (Rooster Hannigan), The Little Mermaid (King Triton), Snow White (The Wicked “Red” Queen) and many more. In concert, Kevin has appeared with the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony, in his self-produced touring show, Broadway Cabaret /Broadway Jazz, and is a former member of the Montreal Opera Ensemble. Kevin originated several Canadian roles including “Wind” in the newly restored Canadian Operetta Leo, The Royal Cadet; “Pete” in the world premier of Boiler Room Suite (Canada/U.K.); Billy/Bearkeeper in the world premier The Banff Centre-Welsh National Opera co-production of Tornrak. Kevin can be seen in movie & television principal roles with major studios including Lifetime Network, Lionsgate films, the SyFy network, CBC, and in the premier season of “Suits” with the US & Bravo Network. He has been featured in commercials for Kellogg’s, Ford Canada, and Tylenol. 2014 marks Kevin’s 12th season as a National vocal adjudicator. Website: www.kevinpower.net
