About Latif

Been in the music business most of my life. Started as a writer, and then moved on to producing, starting an indie label, management, and finally bookings which is what I have been doing now for about 20 years. I book established 80s and 90s Pop and Hip Hop acts to perform at club and concert events through out the country, and abroad. I am the manager of such acts as Lil Suzy, The Cover Girls, TKA's (Tong, Angel, Aby,) and Freestyle. I Released two novels based on my industry with a 3rd to be released by years end, not to mention scripts of all types, Features, Sitcoms, Plays, and of course Shorts. I Wrote, Directed, and Shot my first short called Dear Daddy. Not bad for a first. My Goal? 25 Shorts by the end of this year. Possible? We'll see! Been purchasing equipment for the past few years and setting up a small indie studio in an old 3000 sq ft property that I own. Jibs, Dollies, Lighting etc... all ready to go. Open to collaborations.
