Hello there! I am Lia Crawford, and I create engaging female driven content for underserved populations, specifically for an audience within the African Diaspora. The goal is to illuminate the stories of real people struggling with the unbalanced socio-economic landscape, spirituality, femininity, being a LGBTQ person of color, Suburban person of color, and those affected by the Prison Industrial Complex.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Media Arts, and Theater (CMAT), with a minor in Public Relations and African-American Studies, from Chicago State University. I also have a background in Sales. In the past, I have been hired to write a romantic comedy feature, set in Chicago. I have also had my screenplay for my short film, 42:24, place 3rd at the Urban Mediamakers Film Festival in 2013.
I am available for screenwriting and post production services. Please explore the rest of the page to get to know more about my projects. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
