About Lucas

Lucas Diercouff was born in Denver, Colorado. He was a Combat Medic with the U.S. Army from 2007-2012 with tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. Soon after his honorable discharge, he attended New York Film Academy in Burbank where he received a BFA in Filmmaking. He is a member of the Veterans in Media and Entertainment and alumni of the WGF's Veteran Writing Project. His first short film 'Strawberry Barbara' screened at LA Shorts Fest. He is currently a freelance filmmaker residing in Texas.

Unique traits: VME (Veterans in Media and Entertainment) member, Deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, working on fluency of Spanish and Scots Gaelic.
